Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage purchasing activities with suppliers in China, including sourcing, price negotiations, and contract agreements.
- Monitor and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
- Assist in basic accounting tasks, such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and budget reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier communications, and inventory levels.
- Liaise with internal departments to assess material needs and align procurement strategies with operational goals.
- Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternative vendors when necessary.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting cost savings, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role, preferably with international suppliers.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procurement software/tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems is a plus.
