Responsibility
- Process purchase orders and verify specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals without compromising quality.
- Track order statuses and resolve discrepancies or delays proactively.
- Prepare and maintain procurement records, reports, and documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure invoices and payments align with purchase orders.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and recommending improvements or alternatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food industry supply chains or catering logistics is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
