Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, bids, and contracts in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules while maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and high-quality suppliers for various procurement needs.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including invoices, receipts, and contract documentation.
- Support the evaluation of vendor performance and recommend improvements to procurement strategies.
- Ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices and anti-corruption policies in all transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and presentations for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics sectors.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and procurement software/tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with vendors, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of government procurement regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
