Responsibility
- Prepare and verify shipment documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms, to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth import/export processes.
- Monitor shipment statuses in real-time, proactively addressing delays or discrepancies to minimize disruptions.
- Liaise with internal teams (warehouse, sales, customer service) to align logistics activities with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, and inventory updates.
- Resolve logistics-related issues, such as customs holds or damaged goods, with efficient and cost-effective solutions.
- Optimize routing and transportation methods to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in logistics management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, import/export operations, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
