As a Purchasing Assistant, you will support the procurement team in sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely deliveries to maintain seamless operations. Your expertise in ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office will be instrumental in streamlining purchasing workflows and enhancing cost-efficiency.

Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services to support manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure competitive pricing.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels using SAP ERP.
- Monitor supplier performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and align procurement strategies.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data analysis and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or logistics industry standards is advantageous.
