Responsibility
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock movements and prevent discrepancies.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct regular audits of warehouse stock to maintain accuracy and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a secure working environment.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff to optimize performance and maintain high standards of productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space to facilitate smooth operations and minimize hazards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Specialist, Supervisor, or similar role in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
