Responsibility
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify savings opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Oversee purchase order processing, invoicing, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline supply chain operations.
- Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Japanese business culture and language is a plus.
