Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services to support manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and contracts with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Track shipments and resolve any delays or discrepancies with suppliers.
- Maintain organized records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance) to align procurement with business needs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles (internships included).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on cost optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing or logistics industry standards is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
