Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing and procuring construction materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to secure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and supplier agreements using procurement software.
- Liaise with project managers to understand material requirements and prioritize orders based on project timelines.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate their reliability, pricing, and product quality.
- Resolve discrepancies in invoices, deliveries, or orders in collaboration with the finance and logistics teams.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with procurement or ERP software.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Basic understanding of construction materials, specifications, and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
