Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing and procuring high-quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices to support manufacturing and operational needs.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, avoiding production delays.
- Process purchase orders, track shipments, and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance metrics.
- Support the Purchasing Manager in identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
- Assist in resolving procurement-related issues, such as delivery discrepancies, quality concerns, or payment disputes.
- Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier options to enhance procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with procurement or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are advantageous.
