Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing and procuring raw materials, equipment, and services to support manufacturing operations.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Track order statuses and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials.
- Maintain and update procurement records, including vendor contracts and pricing agreements.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and alternative sourcing options.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome).
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with ERP or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or construction industry procurement is a plus.
