Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services to support manufacturing and operational needs.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and maintain strong business relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Track and report on purchasing activities, including order status, lead times, and cost savings.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor information.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure proper documentation and approval for all procurement transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role (fresh graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and inventory management.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or construction industry procurement is an advantage.
