Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of construction and engineering materials, equipment, and services.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain and update procurement records, including purchase orders and contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project teams to forecast material needs.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and new procurement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices, and deliveries in a timely manner.
- Support the preparation of procurement reports and budget tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in construction or engineering.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven procurement decisions.
