Responsibility
- Analyze product data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement strategies.
- Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark pricing, quality, and delivery terms for better negotiation leverage.
- Calculate container cubication, tonnage, and HPP to optimize shipping costs and inventory management.
- Prepare and submit purchase requests and tenders to suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and budget constraints.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to align purchasing activities with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, agreements, and expenditures for auditing and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within manufacturing or logistics industries.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation, cost analysis, and financial modeling.
- In-depth understanding of container cubication, tonnage calculations, and HPP (Harga Pokok Penjualan).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement software, or inventory management tools is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are an advantage.
