Responsibility
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update procurement records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Monitor order statuses and delivery schedules to prevent delays and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast inventory needs and align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and alternative sourcing options.
- Assist in resolving invoicing and payment issues with suppliers and the finance department.
- Generate reports on procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles, preferably in the F&B, agriculture, or trading industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and inventory management is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
