Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage the procurement of raw materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels to prevent shortages or excess.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation with precision.
- Assist in administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and report preparation.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the production team to align procurement with operational needs.
- Resolve discrepancies or issues with orders, deliveries, or payments promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative roles (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic ERP or inventory management systems.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of supply chain logistics and vendor management.
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
