Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, and placing purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage optimization, and distribution of goods to support project timelines.
- Coordinate motorpool logistics, including vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and fuel management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement reorder strategies to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and high-quality materials.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards in all procurement and warehouse activities.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to align procurement and warehouse activities with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, warehouse management, or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, procurement software, and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Proven ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make data-driven decisions to optimize procurement and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with motorpool coordination and fleet management is a plus.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and other relevant software tools.
