Responsibility
- Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials, including steel, cement, tools, and machinery.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to secure the best deals for the company.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to align procurement with project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve any supply chain issues or delays promptly to minimize project disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials and industry standards is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is an advantage.
