Responsibility
- Operate company vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, the vehicle, and the goods being transported.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to provide updates on delivery statuses.
- Handle and secure goods properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid professional driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery or panel driver, preferably in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills in English to interact with clients and team members.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods as needed.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
