Responsibility
- Manage and respond to sales inquiries from industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations on pump systems tailored to client needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and servicing of pump equipment.
- Conduct site visits to assess client requirements, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and contracts to potential clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new pump technologies, and competitive products.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or technical support within the pump systems or industrial equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of pump types (centrifugal, submersible, etc.), applications, and maintenance.
- Valid Class 3 driving license (preferred) for site visits and client meetings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to sales and client management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software is a plus.
