Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of dewatering and slurry pumping systems for mining applications.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-capacity pumping equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Develop and implement best practices for pump efficiency, energy consumption, and system longevity.
- Collaborate with mining operations teams to align pumping solutions with production goals and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for all pumping-related activities.
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and budgeting for pumping equipment and spare parts.
- Monitor system performance using data analytics and recommend improvements for cost and efficiency gains.
- Train and mentor engineering staff to build technical expertise and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mining Engineering.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in pump systems, dewatering, or slurry handling, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, and slurry transportation systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic calculations, fluid dynamics, and mining water management.
- Experience with CAD software, pump selection tools, and SCADA systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Indonesian mining regulations, environmental compliance, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; ability to work in remote or field-based mining sites.
