Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all packaging machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Design and implement mechanical modifications or upgrades to improve machine performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and reduce maintenance costs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) and company safety protocols.
- Train and mentor technical staff on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Source and evaluate vendor proposals for machinery parts, tools, and services to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in packaging, manufacturing, or industrial automation.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting mechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, thermography).
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and ability to conduct risk assessments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
