Responsibility
- Assist in the creation, revision, and maintenance of 2D technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Develop and update Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Manage document control processes, including version tracking, approval workflows, and archiving of engineering documents.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure all design documentation meets industry standards and client requirements.
- Organize and maintain a centralized digital repository for project-related documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits of technical documentation to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, manuals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation of document management systems (DMS) to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in design documentation, BOM management, or document control, preferably in manufacturing or automation.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of document control principles, versioning, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO).
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with PDM (Product Data Management) or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
