Responsibility
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces, to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and free of debris.
- Replenish supplies such as towels, tissues, and toiletries in public restrooms and common areas.
- Inspect public spaces regularly for cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces, ensuring they are prepared according to guest expectations.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to comply with industry and company standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness or comfort in public areas.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping and hotel staff to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often under time constraints.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper usage techniques.
- Good communication skills and a professional, guest-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the resort’s operational needs.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a hospitality setting is a plus.
