APSN Education Services is dedicated to empowering students with special needs through tailored educational and psychological interventions. As a Psychologist/Senior Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing students' well-being and academic success.
Responsibility
- Provide individual and group psychological services to students, focusing on improving educational performance and conduct.
- Conduct psychological assessments and screenings to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
- Deliver counseling and therapeutic interventions to address behavioral, emotional, and social challenges.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and plan next steps.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
- Provide training and workshops for staff and parents on psychological and behavioral support strategies.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Registration with the Singapore Psychological Society or equivalent professional body.
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently as needed.
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in psychological practice.
- Experience in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus.
