Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently for inpatient and outpatient services.
- Prepare compounded medications in a sterile lab environment, adhering to strict safety and quality protocols.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring medication supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and ensuring timely medication delivery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless medication management and patient care.
- Uphold infection control and hygiene standards in all pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in hospital, retail, or compounding lab settings.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, dosage calculations, and medication safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Valid pharmacy technician license or certification (if applicable).
