Responsibility
- Review and validate clinical data from various sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Abstract and interpret complex medical records, coding, and documentation to support data integrity initiatives.
- Identify and resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, or errors through systematic analysis and collaboration with clinical teams.
- Develop and implement data quality improvement strategies to enhance EMR integrity and operational efficiency.
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor data performance metrics and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical staff, and compliance officers, to streamline data processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in clinical data management.
- Provide training and guidance to junior analysts and staff on data integrity protocols and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical data management, data integrity, or a similar role within the healthcare sector.
- Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Certification in Clinical Data Management (e.g., CCDM, RHIA) is highly desirable.
