Responsibility
- Analyze client requirements and technical specifications to develop tailored engineering proposals.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure proposals align with business objectives.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure proposal viability.
- Present proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing technical queries and concerns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and competitive offerings.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to gather necessary technical and commercial data.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations throughout the proposal process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
- Proven experience in proposal engineering, technical sales, or a similar role.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and contract negotiations.
