Responsibility
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical assemblies to identify root causes of malfunctions.
- Repair or replace faulty components, wiring, or systems to restore full functionality and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Document all repair activities, including issues identified, actions taken, and parts replaced, for quality assurance and traceability.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Assist in the calibration and testing of new or modified equipment to ensure it meets operational specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff or other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals for equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM principles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively document and report technical issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
