Responsibility
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) plans for the hydropower station construction project.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor construction activities to identify and mitigate potential quality issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed QAQC documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Ensure all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards and project specifications.
- Provide training and guidance to project teams on QAQC procedures and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on quality performance and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, preferably in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of international quality standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.) and construction regulations.
- Experience with hydropower or similar infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in using QAQC software and tools for documentation and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
