Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the operational aspects of early-phase clinical research projects, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including clinical, regulatory, and data management, to align project goals and deliverables.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, monitoring progress and mitigating risks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, investigators, and external partners, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Prepare and present project reports, metrics, and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or a related field; advanced degree (MSc, MBA, or PhD) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of early-phase clinical trials, including study design, regulatory submissions, and site management.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and electronic data capture (EDC) platforms.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Clinical Research (SOCRA, ACRP) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity and engagement.
