Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test multi-channel single photon detector systems for high-precision applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optoelectronic components and readout electronics.
- Conduct data analysis and performance evaluation of photon detection systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Optimize system parameters for improved sensitivity, speed, and efficiency in photon detection.
- Document technical specifications, test procedures, and project progress reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues related to photon detection and readout systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in photonics, quantum technologies, and optoelectronics to drive innovation.
- Support the preparation of grant proposals, research papers, and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Optoelectronics, Physics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in photon detection systems, optoelectronic devices, or readout electronics.
- Strong knowledge of data acquisition systems, signal processing, and circuit design.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with FPGA, microcontrollers, or embedded systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with quantum technologies, laser systems, or semiconductor devices is advantageous.
