Responsibility
- Perform preventive maintenance on plant machinery, HVAC systems, electrical installations, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond promptly to breakdown maintenance requests, diagnosing issues and implementing effective repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems, including alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems, in compliance with local and international safety standards.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and document findings, recommending upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute facility improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports, tracking work orders, parts inventory, and service histories.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and operational teams on equipment handling and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, thermal imaging cameras).
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Certification in OSHA, NFPA, or local safety standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
