Responsibility
- Perform root-cause analysis on hardware and software failures in NPI and sustaining production lines.
- Execute systematic troubleshooting using diagnostic tools, schematics, and test equipment.
- Document and report defects, anomalies, and corrective actions with precision.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA, and manufacturing teams to validate fixes and improve product designs.
- Conduct functional testing and validation of prototypes and production units.
- Develop and refine debugging procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support failure mode analysis (FMA) and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and emerging debugging technologies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in debugging, troubleshooting, or technical support for hardware systems.
- Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of PCB layouts, schematics, and embedded systems.
- Experience with NPI processes and sustaining engineering is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) for technical documentation and team collaboration.
