Responsibility
- Lead and manage end-to-end logistics projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (warehousing, transportation, procurement) to optimize supply chain processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance delivery performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and transportation costs, and report findings to senior management.
- Identify bottlenecks in logistics operations and propose data-driven solutions to streamline workflows.
- Manage vendor and third-party logistics (3PL) relationships, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and contracts are negotiated effectively.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, such as implementing warehouse management systems (WMS) or transportation management systems (TMS).
- Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CSCP, CLTD) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or project management, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing logistics projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Experience with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Knowledge of local and international logistics regulations, customs procedures, and import/export laws.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
