Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving Centralised Cooling System issues in HDB units.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery.
- Coordinate with HDB authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align on project objectives and compliance requirements.
- Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines in all operational activities.
- Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations to senior management.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, tools, and materials, to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in cooling systems, M&E (Mechanical & Electrical), or building services.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a high-pressure operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Centralised Cooling Systems, chiller plants, and HVAC technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and technical software (e.g., AutoCAD, BMS).
- Familiarity with Singapore/HDB standards and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a contract-based role.
