Responsibility
- Develop, review, and modify detailed technical drawings and plans using Civil 3D for infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage systems, and land development.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings align with design specifications, project requirements, and industry standards.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, or omissions before final submission.
- Assist in the preparation of 3D models, profiles, cross-sections, and other technical documentation to support project execution.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to clarify design intent and incorporate feedback into drawings.
- Manage and organize drafting files, ensuring version control and proper documentation for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Civil 3D and related software to enhance drafting efficiency and accuracy.
- Support junior draftsmen and team members with technical guidance and mentorship as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil 3D Draftsman or similar role in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including grading, drainage, and road design.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D modeling is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
