Responsibility
- Lead and manage MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Sanitary) projects from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Develop and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications.
- Monitor and assess revisions between bid project drawings and final construction documents, identifying discrepancies and proposing solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of MEPFS systems into overall project designs.
- Oversee budgeting, cost estimation, and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to technical specifications, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders and senior management.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in MEPFS project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
- Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications for MEPFS systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software, and other engineering tools to analyze and interpret project drawings.
- Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, IBC).
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building certifications (e.g., LEED, Green Mark) is highly desirable.
