Responsibility
- Lead and manage lift installation, modernization, and maintenance projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, specifications, and technical requirements for lift systems.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks to ensure all projects meet local and international safety regulations (e.g., ISO, EN standards).
- Develop and review technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation for lift systems, including load calculations and electrical/mechanical designs.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, vendor negotiations, and procurement of materials to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during installation or operation, providing innovative solutions to minimize downtime.
- Prepare progress reports, cost analyses, and post-project evaluations for stakeholders and senior management.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and safety-first practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in lift systems (e.g., NAEC, LEIA) are a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in lift project engineering, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of managing multiple lift projects simultaneously, from tendering to handover.
- Strong knowledge of lift system components (e.g., traction machines, controllers, safety gears) and industry standards (e.g., ASME A17.1, EN 81-20/50).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or BIM software for technical design and project visualization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus).
- Ability to travel to project sites across Bali (e.g., Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar) as required.
