In this dynamic role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of lift installation, maintenance, and modernization projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. Based in Badung—with proximity to Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, and other key areas—you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and client satisfaction in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing markets.

Whether you’re an experienced Lift Project Engineer ready to step into a leadership position or an ambitious professional seeking growth in the vertical transportation industry, this role offers the perfect blend of technical challenge, career progression, and work-life balance in a tropical paradise.

Responsibility

  • Lead and manage lift installation, modernization, and maintenance projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to define project scope, specifications, and technical requirements for lift systems.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks to ensure all projects meet local and international safety regulations (e.g., ISO, EN standards).
  • Develop and review technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation for lift systems, including load calculations and electrical/mechanical designs.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, vendor negotiations, and procurement of materials to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during installation or operation, providing innovative solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare progress reports, cost analyses, and post-project evaluations for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and safety-first practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in lift systems (e.g., NAEC, LEIA) are a plus.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in lift project engineering, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple lift projects simultaneously, from tendering to handover.
  • Strong knowledge of lift system components (e.g., traction machines, controllers, safety gears) and industry standards (e.g., ASME A17.1, EN 81-20/50).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or BIM software for technical design and project visualization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus).
  • Ability to travel to project sites across Bali (e.g., Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar) as required.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and innovation in vertical transportation.
