Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage marine shipbuilding projects from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to optimize project workflows and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with international marine safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., SOLAS, IMO, ABS).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to monitor project milestones and address technical challenges.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, including technical specifications, cost analyses, and progress updates for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to align project deliverables with contractual obligations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in shipbuilding processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in shipbuilding, marine production operations, or project management within the maritime industry.
  • Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects, preferably in a shipyard or marine manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of marine systems, structural design, and fabrication processes, including welding, piping, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, NX, or Rhino).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with international maritime regulations and classification society requirements (e.g., DNV, Lloyd’s Register).
  • Willingness to relocate or travel to project sites in Badung, Bali as required.
