Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor equipment health and proactively address potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers and technicians, to resolve equipment-related challenges.
- Document maintenance activities, equipment performance metrics, and incident reports in compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and qualification of new equipment or upgraded systems.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations in a cleanroom or fabrication environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and operators as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, industrial automation, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and diagnostic tools for equipment troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
