Responsibility
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to assess and implement 2D/3D CADD software solutions tailored to project needs.
- Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to engineering teams on CADD software and related tools.
- Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements using automation and digital tools.
- Coordinate with IT and engineering departments to integrate design systems with other enterprise software.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in engineering design and propose innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.
- Document system configurations, user guides, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights on design system capabilities and limitations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering design systems, CADD software, or related roles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CADD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, AutoLISP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes and tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced environment.
