Responsibility
- Coordinate and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Develop and review detailed AutoCAD drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for offshore and marine structures.
- Perform complex design calculations, including structural, hydrodynamic, and stability analyses, to ensure project feasibility and safety.
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to clarify project requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth collaboration.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and post-project evaluations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with advancements in offshore and marine engineering technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in offshore, marine, or structural engineering, with a proven track record in project coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software, as well as engineering simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, STAAD.Pro).
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards (e.g., ISO, ABS, DNV) and regulatory requirements for marine and offshore industries.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and international clients.
- Familiarity with offshore construction, subsea systems, or naval architecture is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and adapt to dynamic work environments.
