Responsibility
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless procurement and installation of mechanical systems.
- Conduct cost analysis and financial forecasting to optimize project profitability.
- Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project alignment and approvals.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or budget overruns.
- Prepare and present project reports, documentation, and updates to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in mechanical systems.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end engineering projects, including design, procurement, and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management skills, with proficiency in tools like MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
