Responsibility

  • Develop and present technical and commercial proposals for solar inverter and BESS solutions to clients, ensuring alignment with their energy needs and budget.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the optimal system design, capacity, and configuration for solar + storage projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, installation) to ensure seamless project execution from proposal to commissioning.
  • Provide expert technical support to sales teams and clients, addressing inquiries about system performance, ROI, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings in solar inverters and energy storage to position The Cool as a market leader.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions for clients and internal teams on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including EPC contractors, developers, and government agencies.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction post-installation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in solar energy are a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in solar PV, inverters, or battery energy storage systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing deals for technical energy solutions in commercial or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of solar inverter technologies (string, central, hybrid), lithium-ion batteries, and energy management systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with local energy regulations, grid codes, and incentive programs in Indonesia (e.g., PLN interconnection standards).
  • Proficiency in software tools for system design (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD) and financial modeling (Excel, ROI calculators).
  • Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions in Indonesia for client meetings and site visits.
