Responsibility
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of fire protection systems for construction projects in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate fire safety measures into project blueprints.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire suppression systems, alarms, and emergency exits.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including fire safety plans, reports, and compliance certificates.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of fire protection solutions.
- Provide training and guidance to on-site teams on fire safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in fire protection engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection system design, installation, or project management within the construction industry.
- Professional certification in fire safety (e.g., CFPS, NFPA) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of fire protection codes, standards, and best practices (e.g., NFPA, FM Global, local regulations).
- Proven experience managing construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali as required.
