Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of workers, subcontractors, and laborers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance with local/regional construction regulations.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
- Inspect construction sites regularly to identify and resolve issues, delays, or material shortages.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and address concerns.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials, optimizing resource allocation.
- Document daily reports, including work completed, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Foreman or Site Supervisor in construction (residential/commercial preferred).
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards (OSHA or local equivalents).
- Familiarity with project management tools and basic computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, construction software).
- Physical stamina to work on-site in varying conditions (Bali’s tropical climate).
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (preferred for client/stakeholder coordination).
- Valid certification in construction safety or management (e.g., K3, AHSP) is a plus.
