As a Project Engineer, you will oversee the installation, monitoring, and scheduling of data center projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks. Responsibility
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project alignment and smooth execution.
- Monitor and report on site progress, ensuring adherence to installation schedules and project timelines.
- Supervise on-site activities, including quality control, safety compliance, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and change orders.
- Optimize project workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data center construction, project management, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, MEP systems, and construction methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Primavera).
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Johor and Cyberjaya as required.
