Responsibility
- Oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and clients to align project goals and resolve technical or logistical challenges.
- Conduct site inspections and progress assessments, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- Prepare and present progress reports, financial forecasts, and technical documentation for stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability best practices in all project phases.
- Lead cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers to foster professional growth.
- Utilize project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and BIM tools to optimize workflows and improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, with a proven track record in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED) is advantageous.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- PMP or PE certification is highly desirable.
