Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems to monitor and improve production processes.
- Lead Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) sessions to identify and mitigate potential risks in manufacturing workflows.
- Design and update Control Plans to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Drive Lean Six Sigma projects to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze process data using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP) to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Train and mentor staff on Lean methodologies, SPC techniques, and problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring robust process validation and capability studies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, quality control, or continuous improvement within manufacturing (aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering preferred).
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and root cause analysis tools.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, or Python/R) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949 standards is an advantage.
